EKURHULENI HOSTS PUBLIC CONSULTATIONS ON PROPOSED FIXED ELECTRICITY TARIFFS
The City of Ekurhuleni will host public participation meetings on fixed electricity tariffs for the 2025/2026 financial year from Saturday, 20 September 2025 to Saturday, 27 September 2025.
The public participation meetings are to engage the community on the proposed fixed electricity tariffs, following Council decision in early August 2025 to provide a further two-month consultation period.
Members of the media are invited to attend these sessions to keep the public informed about this process.
Residents will be given an opportunity to make their inputs on the proposed fixed electricity tariffs so that the city make a decision that balances the needs and concerns of people and the financial sustainability of the city, ensuring continued and reliable electricity supply to all residents.
