Bucs Deal With Fresh Injury Blow


The Orlando Pirates have been dealt a new injury blow ahead of their MTN8 quarterfinal clash against Supersport United at Orlando Stadium on Saturday (18h00).


Defender Thabiso Lebitso has been ruled out of the encounter against Matsatsantsa after failing to recover from an injury he suffered in a pre-season friendly match against Qatari giants Al Sadd last month.


The right back was a victim of an awful challenge from Musaab Khadir and is set for a lengthy spell of at least three months on the sidelines as a result, with the Buccaneers medical team confirming suffered a knee injury.


Moreover, Miguel Timm is another player whose involvement in the MTN8 opener remains uncertain. as he’s also nursing an ankle injury suffered in the same match and is set to undergo a late fitness test.
