Nomfundo Zondo Foundation continues to reach out to disability communities through impactful initiatives. This event formed part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to advocate for inclusion, care, and respect for physically challenged society.

Purpose
The main objective of the campaign was to celebrate the festive season and donate wheelchairs and give groceries to four disadvantaged families as a Christmas gift. Enabling them to enjoy the festive season like other members of the community. Ipeleng Hope Center was one of the fortunate beneficiaries selected to receive wheelchairs and groceries. These donations will provide increased independence and mobility for users, allowing them to move more freely and confidently.
Speaking at the event, the founder and CEO of the Nomfundo Zondo Foundation, Mrs Nomtombi Zondo, said:
“I would like to encourage society to honour and respect disability communities. As a foundation, our mission is to advocate for the voiceless to promote inclusivity and give love to our physically challenged people. We also organise awareness campaigns monthly to teach, inform, and educate able-bodied people to understand various disabilities and how these people live and should be accepted as community members as well.
The donations came as a great relief during the festive season, helping to ease the burden faced by the centre and its beneficiaries.

As one of the overjoyed to have received this wheelchair from the foundation. Mr Koketso Moboea emphasised:
” It will make my life much easier. I’m speechless and truly grateful for what they have done for our centre. They should continue doing this for other organisations as well.
The programme concluded with the distribution of groceries and wheelchairs to the beneficiaries, marking a meaningful and compassionate end to the year for all involved.
