Nhlalala Mashele Crowned Miss Gauteng Exclusive 2025

The Miss Gauteng Exclusive 2025 Grand Finale, held on 4 October, celebrated eight years of shaping confident, purpose-driven young women. Fifteen finalists from across the province competed after completing a five-month leadership and mentorship programme focused on transformation, entrepreneurship, and community impact.

The night ended in triumph for Nhlalala Mashele, a 20-year-old BCom Law student from Centurion, who was crowned Miss Gauteng Exclusive 2025. Her calm confidence, advocacy for children’s literacy, and heartfelt authenticity impressed both judges and audiences. “Being crowned Miss Gauteng Exclusive 2025 will forever be one of the most remarkable moments of my life,” said Nhlalala. “This journey has been layered and transformative, a true testament that purpose unfolds in its own time.”

Thandolwethu Mabele was named first runner-up and Khanyisile Mabena second runner-up, both recognized for their leadership, eloquence, and stage presence. The judging panel included Rethabile Leoma, Nompumelelo Maduna, Thabo Limema, Tamia, and Lebo Lion, who assessed finalists on transformation, leadership, entrepreneurship, ambassadorship, and philanthropy.

Two new titles made their debut this year — the Crown of Elegance Award, awarded to Thandolwethu Mabele, and the Rising Entrepreneur Award, presented to Letumile Malandisa for her business creativity and drive.

In a defining announcement, Miss Gauteng Exclusive revealed its new direction as Agents of Change, a leadership movement that extends beyond pageantry. “This journey has always been about more than crowns and titles,” said Miss Jay, Co-Founder and CEO. “It’s about raising women of influence who lead with integrity and create lasting impact.”
