Twenty Years On, Triviron Project Management Continues to Build People, Partnerships and Progress

An atmosphere of elegance, gratitude and celebration filled Divine Sunset Venue in Midrand on Friday 26 June 2026 evening as Triviron Project Management (TPM) marked its 20th anniversary with a black-tie gala that honoured two decades of building a business driven by purpose, people and performance.

The celebration brought together business leaders, clients, industry partners, employees, family and friends to reflect on a journey that has transformed TPM into a respected project management organisation. While the evening celebrated the organisation’s achievements, it also highlighted the values that have remained constant throughout its growth. Integrity, excellence and a genuine investment in people emerged as the defining themes of the night.

Throughout the programme, guest speakers reflected on Triviron’s journey and the leadership that has guided it over the past twenty years. Their stories revealed that the company’s success has been shaped by resilience, disciplined leadership and a commitment to building a business designed to create lasting value.
One of the evening’s strongest messages was TPM’s commitment to developing young professionals.

Approximately 60 percent of the company’s workforce is made up of youth, reflecting a deliberate investment in South Africa’s future. Through mentorship, skills development and structured career growth opportunities, the company continues to equip young people with the tools to succeed long after they enter the workplace.

Speaking during the celebration, TPM’s Executive of HR and ESG, Thembi Mahlope, said the company’s commitment goes beyond creating jobs.
“Triviron Project Management not only employs young people, but has intentionally created systems and development programmes that ensure every individual continues to grow throughout their career. It is an organisation committed to developing leaders for the future.”

Her remarks captured the philosophy that has become central to the organisation’s identity. Success at Triviron Project Management is measured not only by the projects completed, but also by the lives transformed through opportunity and continuous development.

Several speakers also shared personal reflections on working with Chief Executive Officer Phenyo Mathopa, describing a leader whose humility, consistency and vision have inspired those around him. Their stories painted the picture of a leader who understands that sustainable success is built through strong relationships as much as strong systems.

In his address, Mr Mathopa reflected on one of the principles that has guided the company from its earliest days.

“I learned very early that success is never accidental. To build a business that lasts, you need strong systems, sound governance and a sustainable operating model. Those foundations have guided every decision we have made over the past twenty years.”
