Bokang Relebohile Maseli Brings Poetry, Purpose and Ambition to Her Reign

The newly crowned Miss Global Princess South Africa 2026, Bokang Relebohile Maseli, is bringing a different dimension to the pageant spotlight through her combination of modelling, poetry, ambition and youth empowerment.

Her story is not one of someone who always knew she would become a queen. Instead, it is the story of a young woman who gradually developed the confidence to pursue opportunities and discover her own voice.

Bokang’s interest in modelling grew as she became more confident in herself. Encouragement from her mother helped her take those first steps and provided continued support as she developed her skills.

That journey eventually led her to the Miss Global Princess South Africa stage.

The competition tested more than her ability to perform. It required Bokang to manage self-doubt and remain focused under pressure. The experience became an important lesson in separating her past from her present and understanding that previous insecurities do not have to determine future achievements.

Poetry has become one of the clearest expressions of that philosophy.

Bokang uses poetry to communicate experiences around self-worth, confidence and personal growth. Her poem Younger Me reflects the emotional journey that has shaped much of her identity and gives audiences an opportunity to understand the person behind the crown.

Her creative work also connects directly to her vision for her reign.

Bokang is passionate about youth empowerment and entrepreneurship. She believes young people often possess strong ideas but may lack the confidence or guidance required to turn those ideas into action.

She wants to use her platform to help change that, particularly among young women.

Through school visits, social media, public speaking and poetry, she plans to create conversations that encourage young people to believe in their abilities and pursue their ambitions.

Bokang’s future ambitions extend into entrepreneurship and public speaking, where she hopes to build a career focused on both achievement and influence.

Her crown has given her visibility. She now intends to use that visibility with purpose.
