Men from all walks of life gathered at the Faith and Hope Foundation Green Zone Edu-Agri-Hub in Pretoria, Garankuwa, Ext. 23, for a powerful Father’s Matter event, led by founder Miss Faith Sibeko, on Saturday, 23 May 2026.
The campaign attracted stakeholders that were united by a common goal: to celebrate fatherhood and empower men and strengthen their commitment.

The event created a safe and supportive environment where men could openly discuss challenges affecting them at home, in their communities, and in the workplace at large. Participants were encouraged to show experience, support one another, and build meaningful relationships.
Speaking during the campaign, Miss Faith Sibeko highlighted the important role fathers play in shaping the future generations.
“To all fathers, your efforts today build a brighter tomorrow. Keep leading with strength and hope because fathers truly matter.”
Speakers throughout the program emphasized the importance of unity among men, encouraging them to form strong support networks and seek professional help when facing difficulties instead of suffering in silence.
The event also focused on the importance of mentorship, responsibility, fatherhood, and positive male leadership, which are essential for building safer and stronger communities.
Mr. Sipho Masango, Director of Mengage Development, stressed the importance of how men faced challenges and also pointed out the health issues as one of the serious challenges contributing to stress and lack of strong networks:
“There are contributing factors that men face; one of them is unemployment, as most fathers are unemployed, which hinders proper availability to their children. Mental health and stress of life can be hiccups; most fathers today feel not enough. Health issues and short life spans of fathers are because of illness caused by not taking care of one’s health and not visiting clinics regularly for checkups. Men can get help with their challenges by attending a skills center to upskill themselves and start their own business ventures. Engage in activities to avoid idle minds, having someone to talk to, attending such gatherings of men to grow, visiting health facilities regularly to monitor one’s health, exercising, and eating a proper diet.”
Attendees praised the initiative for creating a platform where men could connect, learn, and inspire one another. The campaign served as a reminder that men are an important part of society and deserve recognition, support, and appreciation.
The day ended on a high note as participants enjoyed lunch and refreshments while continuing their conversations and networking.
