Massage Foundation of Hope continues its weekly feeding scheme for the homeless people in Roodepoort, providing cooked hot meals every Wednesday and Sunday at various traffic intersections across the area.
The initiative aims to support vulnerable individuals facing hunger and hardships by offering nutritious, hot cooked meals while promoting humanity, love, and kindness within the community of Roodepoort. Many homeless people often go days without food, making access to a warm meal a significant source of relief and hope.
Founder and fundraiser Mrs. Betty Lekgethe highlighted the importance of the program and the impact it has on the lives of beneficiaries:
“Many homeless people go to bed hungry for days. By providing cooked hot meals, we are helping to ease their daily challenges while also reinforcing the message that humanity and compassion remain important values in society.”
One beneficiary expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the support received from the foundation:
“The cooked hot meals are like a miracle because I don’t get to eat a cooked meal every day. A decent meal makes a big difference; to receive a hot cooked meal is truly a blessing,” said Leeroy East.
Through its ongoing feeding scheme, the Masechaba Foundation of Hope continues to bring hope, dignity, and care to the homeless individuals across Roodepoort, ensuring that those in need receive a warm meal and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
