Her Brunch 2026 Puts Women at the Centre of a Conversation About Support, Strength and Sisterhood

As women continue to face mounting expectations to excel professionally, build businesses, raise families, lead communities and remain resilient through personal challenges, Her Brunch 2026 is creating a space for women to pause, connect and reflect on who supports those who are often expected to support everyone else.

Returning under the theme “Her Shoulders, My Strength,” the empowering women’s gathering seeks to celebrate the women who uplift, mentor and strengthen others through every season of life.

Following the success of its inaugural event in 2025, Her Brunch has grown beyond a traditional annual gathering. The platform is developing into a movement focused on creating intentional spaces where women can connect beyond their titles, achievements and everyday expectations.

Founder Nkateko Mabindisa says the inspiration behind Her Brunch came from witnessing the transformative impact of women coming together to share their authentic experiences.

“Women don’t always need another networking event. Sometimes they simply need a space where they feel seen, heard and understood,” Mabindisa says. “Her Brunch exists to remind women that no one succeeds alone, and that behind every strong woman is another who helped carry her.”

The 2026 edition will bring together prominent voices from leadership, entrepreneurship, wellness and personal development.

Renowned entrepreneur and Agenda Women Founder and CEO Nomndeni Mdakhi will deliver the event’s closing keynote. Her work in advancing women’s leadership and entrepreneurship is also cited as an inspiration behind the creation of Her Brunch.

The programme will feature a number of influential women whose personal and professional journeys continue to inspire audiences across South Africa. They include entrepreneur and wellness advocate Sonia Booth, entrepreneur Dr Tumelo Makamu, author Jabulile Khumalo, and breast cancer survivor and advocate Seipati “Miss Gates” Masango.

Respected media personality Tumelo Mothotoane will facilitate the day’s conversations.

Unlike conventional conferences, Her Brunch 2026 has been deliberately designed to put conversation ahead of presentations, connection ahead of performance and authentic storytelling ahead of perfection.

Guests can expect interactive discussions, audience participation, curated networking opportunities, luxury gifting and brand activations aimed at encouraging meaningful engagement.

The organisers believe the event comes at an important time as conversations around burnout, mental wellbeing, female entrepreneurship, workplace equality and community support continue to gain prominence in South Africa.

Her Brunch aims to contribute to these conversations by providing women with an environment where they can speak openly about both their achievements and struggles while building relationships rooted in encouragement and collaboration.

The event is expected to attract a diverse audience that includes entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, professionals, mothers, community leaders and women of faith. It also provides brands with an opportunity to align themselves with a purpose-driven platform focused on women’s empowerment and social impact.

At its core, Her Brunch 2026 is about recognising that strength does not always mean carrying everything alone. It can also mean allowing others to stand beside you, share the load and remind you that you are supported.

As anticipation builds for the 2026 edition, the message behind the gathering remains clear: when women gather with intention, extraordinary things happen.
