Home affairs building set alight in Germiston

Germiston Home Affairs building in Ekurhuleni has been set alight. According to Ekurhuleni EMS spokesperson, William Tladi, Fire and rescue services are currently engaged with fire suppression as the dual floors of the  building is well alight in President Street  Germiston CBD. 

“The call was received  this morning around 08H00. Currently, no casualties are recorded. Active firefighting suppression in progress. Flames are under control. Structures in the neighborhood had to be protected as per risk assessment conducted,” added Tladi.
