The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) Calls On Vehicle Drivers To Improve Conduct On The Roads

The Road Traffic Management Corporation is calling on freight and public transport vehicle drivers to improve their behaviour and put safety first.

This comes after 12 people were killed in a major crash involving a minibus vehicle and two heavy vehicle on R81 at Ga-Sekgopo, Limpopo yesterday.

The deceased include a taxi driver, 10 female public transport passengers and a child between the ages of 7 and 10 years.

The R81 was closed  for several hours as emergency personne worked tirelessly tor remove bodies from the wreckage.

The exact cause of the crash has not yet been determined as investigations are still underway.

We appeal to motorists to respect each other on the roads and exercise tolerance for each other.
