Two die, four injured in joburg blaze

Two people have died and four were injured after a fire broke out at a residential building early on Sunday in commissioner and Nugget street

According to City spokesperson Nana Radebe, the fire was spreading quickly affecting different levels of the building because of the combustible material used.

“The fire operation continues at the storey building that was engulfed with flames earlier this morning. Two people jumped from the second floor and three people were rescued from the balcony”, says Nana Radebe

Nana Radebe added that four people have been transported to the health care facilities for further medical care.

The cause of this fire remains under investigation and rescue operations are still underway.
